NVME business advisors will help Maine entrepreneurs launch small businesses

New Ventures Maine has an immediate opening for two full-time Small Business Advisors. One will be based in Bangor; the other will be based in Lewiston-Auburn. Both advisors will offer classes and individual advising to entrepreneurs who are planning and launching new businesses.

Responsibilities of both posts include planning and delivering microenterprise workshops and classes and providing training and assistance to individuals who are self-employed or developing their business plans, including low-income, non-traditional, and under-represented entrepreneurs. We welcome applicants who may be recent college graduates and just gaining teaching and business experience. Training will be provided.
