Class Description
This online career planning class provides a venue to explore career and training opportunities in the growing field of trade-based occupations. We will focus on Kennebec Valley Community College’s (KVCC) trades programs, which include training on the latest renewable energy technologies such as solar, biomass, and geothermal. These programs will help students prepare for high wage, in-demand careers.
KVCC trade programs include:
–Energy Services
–Electrical
–Lineworker
–Precision Manufacturing
–Applied Electronics/Computer Technology
–Pulp & Paper
Join the class to examine your work interests and experience, identify your transferable skills, and explore your earning potential. Learn about projected growth industries and education and training needed to build your career. Create your own education and career plan. Women and Veterans are encouraged to attend.
