New Ventures Maine recently announced the winners of its statewide 2025 Marketing Mini-Grant Competition. 3B’s Catering Company was the $1,000 mini-grant winner for Midcoast Maine.

3B’s Catering Company specializes in creating memorable culinary experiences—from wood-fired pizza by the slice to elegantly plated private dinners—for events of all sizes. At the center of 3B’s Catering is a belief that food is a universal language that connects everyone. The company name, 3B’s, represents community and mutual support that are at the center of their story and the change they want to create within local food systems through their business.

The catering company’s mission is to forge connections among people through great food, strengthening local food systems for a more resilient future and demonstrating how business can be a force for good.

“This marketing mini-grant gives us a chance to present ourselves as polished and as high quality as our food,” said Co-owner Tessa Boepple. “We want to boost our marketing efforts so that we are not relying solely on the quality of food we produce to attract customers.”

The grant will fund reusable vehicle branding, market stall branding, and stamps & stickers for brand packaging. The company aims to implement a multifaceted approach to increase visibility.

The Midcoast Maine mini-grant was sponsored by Norway Savings Bank.
