New Ventures Maine programs encourage and empower you to take the next step.
We help people of all backgrounds from across the state venture in new directions by offering free programs for career, business, and financial education. We have guided individuals through life changes for over 45 years. Graduates of our programs have gone on to reach all kinds of personal, work and financial goals.

We have seven locations serving 16 counties, plus convenient online class options.

As advocates, we partner with other statewide organizations to tackle issues central to the economic security of Maine’s people.

Helping Maine people succeed in the changing economy and achieve economic security for themselves and their families.

Classes, Workshops and Coaching

NVME classes and workshops, offered at no cost, are open to all Maine adults. Individual coaching is also available for free online and in person. Our programs encourage and empower those thinking about making a change to take the next step towards financial security, a new career, or a new business.
