New Ventures Maine recently announced winners of the statewide 2025 Marketing Mini-Grant Competition. Nor’Easter Oyster Co was the $1,000 mini-grant winner for Southern Maine.
A growing, female-led Maine seafood business, Nor’Easter Oyster Co creates premium, value-added products from sustainably grown shellfish.
The multifaceted aquaculture company’s mission is to create new revenue opportunities for Maine sea farmers by purchasing excess oysters that would otherwise go unused, and transforming them into premium, value-added seafood products.
“The marketing mini-grant is a game-changer for our business,” said Co-Owner Jacqueline Clarke. “It will allow us to enhance our current trade show booth, helping us better tell our story, showcase our products, and connect with buyers in a more impactful way.”
Mini-grant funds will go towards enhancements to the company’s tradeshow booth and exhibition materials, including high-quality print materials, a new pop-up seafood storefront to display products, and upgrades to an interactive display.
