jackie georgeJackie’s business Abdundant Health (Abundant Health won….Owner JG) won the first round of minigrants awarded in the midcoast in October 2011.  At that time she was in the middle of expanding her business and moving her office into a larger space.  She applied for the minigrant program to update her existing marketing materials with her new contact information and to institute a specific marketing campaign with the goal of growing her client base.

Jackie’s targeted marketing work really paid off- she currently has a  2-3 week waiting list for new patients.  She also determined that her minigrant generated almost $11,000.00 in additional income over the course of one year.

Jacqueline says, “Moving my business necessitated totally equipping a new space which left little money left over for the equally important task of promoting my business.  I am so grateful to Women, Work, and Community for giving me the financial boost and flexibility to do so just when it was most needed.”
