Six entrepreneurs spent the summer developing business plans for their new enterprises, devoting over 60 hours of online class time exploring topics such as their customer, competitors, marketing, recordkeeping, taxes, finances, and legal aspects of running their businesses.
These dedicated entrepreneurs were participants in Venturing Forth, NVME’s comprehensive business planning class.
The class culminated in a celebration in mid-August featuring presentations for family members and colleagues gathered at the United Way of Southern Maine offices in Portland.
