KeyBank and WWC partnered to provide Credit Yourself classes to community participants who wanted to learn wise use of credit and to set financial goals. KeyBank of Maine and KeyBank Foundation generously provided the funding while WWC staff facilitated the training. Participants who completed the training were eligible to apply for a $250 award to assist in achieving their goals. Award recipient Amy Schnoor said, “Taking the class helped me to understand my credit better and make strides to improve it. I may never have gotten the confidence to do this had it not been for Women, Work and Community and empowerment I got from taking the Credit Yourself course.”
