ONLINE: Two distance learning options for Career Planning this Fall!

WWC is excited to offer two options: ONLINE and BLENDED.

BLENDED:
Begins Career_Puzzle.gifweek of October 15, and has live class meetings the first and last weeks. In the four intervening weeks, students will work on their own online, with direction and resources provided weekly.  Students have a choice of live sessions  in Belfast, Augusta, or Rockland (choose one). For this class, the registration deadline is September 28. For more information and to register, contact Linda Buckmaster at 596-2615 or lsbuck@maine.edu.
ONLINE:
Begins November 5.  No live class sessions. Instead, students will connect with the instructor and classmates in online discussion boards, conference calls, and more.
For this class, the registration deadline is October 18. For more information and to register, contact Janet Smith at 778-2757 or janet.smith@maine.edu.Both classes require regular access to high-speed internet. Basic computer skills are necessary. These include: word processing, file management, email, and internet searching. You will also need to download plug-ins (for example, Real Player or QuickTime) in order to access audio and/or video.

Both use the University system’s BlackBoard for online course management. It’s a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with this widely used tool!
