Maine Startup & Create Week (MSCW) is an eight-day celebration (from June 12-20) of startups, innovators, entrepreneurs and creatives in Portland and across the state. MSCW is designed to showcase Maine’s vibrant and growing startup ecosystem, both to our state’s wider community and visiting guests from around the country.

Session D Hosted by WWC and Women Standing Together.  Women face particular challenges in the area of innovation, startups, and entrepreneurship. Part policy discussion, part pragmatic tool, this discussion will focus on this issue, experiences of success, and solutions. Including Shauna Causey, VP Marketing of UpGlobal; Kristen Gwinn-Becker, CEO and Founder, HistoryIT; Cynd Prince, President and Founder, LooHoo, LLC; and Eloise Vitelli, Director, Program and Policy for Women, Work, and  Community.  Mandy Schumaker, CEO and Founder of Higher Performing People, is the moderator.
