Workforce Development Specialist
TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Maine Centers for Women, Work, and Community (soon to be known as New Ventures Maine) has immediate openings for two Workforce Development Specialists (WDS).
Position One (Central Region) will be based in Augusta with outreach and travel throughout Kennebec and Somerset counties.
Position Two (Western Region) will be based in Lewiston with outreach and travel throughout Androscoggin, Oxford, and Franklin counties.
The WDS will coordinate and provide career/workforce and asset development training and other services. Responsibilities include outreach, planning, and delivering workforce and financial education, training and assistance to individuals, including unemployed and underemployed workers, low-income and non-traditional students, single parents, and displaced homemakers.
