School’s out for summer! Your kids are at the finish line of another school year – now is a great time to start thinking about doing something for you!

Consider enrolling in a fall course, either in person or online.

University College centers across Maine make it easy to find a class close to home. There are centers in:

  • Brunswick
  • Millinocket
  • Ellsworth
  • Houlton
  • South Paris
  • Rockland
  • Rumford
  • Saco

There are many associate’s, bachelor’s, graduate degrees, and certificate programs offered entirely online. For a full listing of University College online programs, click here.

Looking for something different?

Consider local Community Colleges and their off-campus centers. Maine’s community colleges offer a wide variety of degree and certificate options with affordable tuition rates. Many of these courses are offered online, as well.

Are you interested in returning to school, but need to strengthen your academic skills before getting started?

Consider enrolling in the Maine College Transitions program through Adult Education. This comprehensive program is designed to prepare adults to succeed in college. It is available at locations statewide.

Have you already earned 30 post-secondary credits and been out of school for at least three years?

If so, the Adult Degree Completion Scholarship is for you! This scholarship will help you complete your education at any University of Maine System campus. The next application deadlne is August 1.

Wherever you decide to start, this summer is a great time to reflect on your goals and prepare to take the next step when school starts again.
