Midcoast Marketing Mini-Grant Recipients Announced

Congratulations to both of our spring 2018 Marketing Mini-Grant recipients in Midcoast Maine!

go-en fermented foods – Whitefield

Nicholas and Mikago-en fermented foods is a small family owned fermentory owned by Nicolas & Mika Repenning. They specialize in traditionally fermented Japanese seasonings and foods. Their goal is to enrich Maine with Japanese culture by spreading the ancient culinary wisdom of Japan. They also hope to excite people’s taste buds with healthy nourishing foods.

Nicolas & Mika will use the grant funds to create a hand-painted sign that will be used at Farmers Markets.

Kate Nicholson Wellness – Topsham

Photo of KateKate Nicholson of Kate Nicholson Wellness in Topsham is a licensed massage therapist & bodyworker, certified yoga teacher, essential oil educator and holistic nutrition coach.

She shares that her practice is an “invitation for women to retreat and connect, investigate and discover, receive and nurture through various life stages for optimal health & wellness.”

Kate will use her mini-grant funds to create a custom video. This video will increase her visibility and leadership in her field of women’s health.
