New Class Will Address Work and Life Beyond the Pandemic

New Ventures Maine’s new class, Next Steps: Work & Life Beyond the Pandemic, is now open for registration.

Through exploration of the effects of the pandemic on women’s lives and work, participants will take steps towards work and life changes, make connections with other women and community-based resources, set personal goals, and develop an action plan for making progress on their goals. The class will be offered online at no cost beginning in mid-September.

Choose either the daytime class or the evening one:

Daytime class: Wednesdays, Sept. 15 through Nov. 17; 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Evening class: Thursdays, Sept. 16 through Nov. 18; 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

The content of the class is informed by results of an ongoing survey to learn how the pandemic has impacted Maine women.

Please contact Janet Smith with questions at janet.smith@maine.edu.

This class is supported in part by grants from the Maine Community Foundation and Machias Savings Bank.
