All for Women 2nd Annual Conference

Yesterday, a bright, cloudless, eighty-degree Presque Isle day, WWC hosted its second annual All for Women leadership event. The energy at this packed-to-capacity, informative, day-long conference was great as participants got inspired, gained skills, and paid it forward in one synergistic celebration.  Another aspect was an impressive and satisfying balance between giving and receiving. WWC Graduates come to the State House

Twenty Women, Work, and Community Ambassadors and graduates from across the state convened at the State House in Augusta on 2/7 to observe their Legislators in action.  Starting with a well attended breakfast in the Cross Café, graduates shadowed their Legislators throughout the day in Committee meetings and party caucuses.  The group observed and received special recognition in morning sessions of both the Senate and House of Representatives.  Participants also …
