This 60-hour course in business planning is our in-depth business class. Topics include:

• Your customer
• Competition
• Marketing
• Record keeping
• Taxes
• Financing
• Legal aspects

At the end of the class, you will have a complete business plan. Class size is limited. Complete an application and individual interview and attend the orientation to be accepted into the class.

There are 3 monthly follow-up networking sessions after the completion of the class.

This course qualifies for 3 Pass/Fail credits from the University of Maine at Augusta upon approval of your completed business plan and payment of a small processing fee.

Graduates of Venturing Forth are eligible to apply for the GEN Scholarship to be used at any University of Maine System University, any Maine Community College, or the University of New England.
