Lisa provides career development, financial, and leadership training and coaching to NVME participants. She is a Certified Poverty Coach through Communication Across Barriers and a certified ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) trainer and speaker through Maine Resilience Building Network. Lisa earned an associate degree in Justice Studies and bachelor’s degree in Mental Health and Human Services from University of Maine at Augusta. She is a volunteer firefighter and first responder in her community and enjoys playing in the Maine Public Safety Pipe & Drum Corps as the lead bass drummer. She is a mother of three and grandmother to a smart and funny eight-year-old grandson. She enjoys camping, going fishing, and playing games with family.
