Grazy Acres Wins NVME Marketing Mini-Grant for Midcoast Maine

New Ventures Maine recently announced the winners of the statewide 2026 Marketing Mini-Grant Competition. Grazy Acres was the $1,000 mini-grant winner for Midcoast Maine.

Grazy Acres is a small goat micro-dairy and farm business producing small-batch cheese, meat and value-added products. It is also home to a show herd of Nigerian Dwarf, Oberhasli, and Guernsey goats.

Their mission is to produce high-quality, small-batch goat milk products using ethical animal care, regenerative practices, and a deep respect for land stewardship and community.

As the business transitions into a licensed dairy with increased production capacity, mini-grant funding will support the development of professional, compliant labeling and packaging that is essential for retail readiness and market expansion. Funds will be used to develop, design, and produce professional labels and packaging materials that strengthen brand recognition, improve product presentation, and ensure retail readiness.

“Professionally packaged goods are more competitive in both direct-to-consumer and wholesale environments, allowing Grazy Acres to grow its customer base and increase sales,” said Founder Anna Zlotkowski. “Overall, this funding supports the professionalization of the business at a pivotal stage—enhancing brand recognition, improving market access, and positioning Grazy Acres for long-term, sustainable growth within Maine’s local food economy.”

The Midcoast Maine mini-grant was sponsored by Norway Savings Bank.
