Class Description
Prepare for your next career with a plan that’s right for you. In this class you will review your skills, interests, and experiences and relate them to occupations, identify educational opportunities, research the local job market, and develop a step-by-step plan to achieve your goals. Whether you are unemployed, underemployed, or considering a career change, this class will help you achieve career success.
Graduates of Career Planning are eligible to apply for the University of Maine at Augusta GEN Scholarship, to be used at any UMA location.

This six-week class will meet primarily online using the University’s Blackboard system.
We will have live Orientations during the week of October 15 in both Belfast and Augusta. We will also have a final live class the week of November 26 in the same locations and time slots.
Orientations (sign up for one):
• Belfast Free Library: Tuesday, 10/16, 10 a.m. to noon; or
• Belfast Hutchinson Center: Tuesday, 10/16, 7-9 p.m.; or
• University of Maine at August, Katz Library, Monday, 10/15, 10 a.m. to noon.
If you cannot attend the live classes, you can arrange to have an individual Orientation the first week and a consultation on your plan the last week.
