Class Description
Join this 24-hour class to examine your work values and interests, identify your transferable skills, and explore your earning potential. We will learn about local projected growth industries and identify the skills, education, and training needed to build your career. At the end of the class you will have a plan to achieve your career goals. Assistance with resume building and job seeking will also be provided. Two follow-up sessions are scheduled to provide ongoing networking and support.
Graduates of Creating Your Future are eligible to apply for the University of Maine at Augusta GEN Scholarship, to be used at any UMA location.

Two follow-on classes will be held on June 14 and June 28 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
